Can test Throttle, Motor and Controller ,most important 3 parts of the electric bikes. Without this tool, the only thing mechanic can do is to change a new part to see what happen. If the problem is still there, change another one until the problem fixed. But sometimes could be a waste of labour to keep changing the parts. And sometimes the new parts may not guaranteed in 100% working condition.

Smart is very easy to use. For throttle and motor, Just plug in  in the tester, turn on the switch, if the light turn on means the part is good. Otherwise it is broken.

Controller testing need to be done on the bike and the power of the bike need to be turn on. It can tell exactly which part of the 6 important parts inside controller is broken.
